30 years of motan in 4 countries

Carl Litherland celebrates his anniversary

Carl Litherland, CMO of the motan group, has been a part of motan for the last 30 years. Since he started on 1st July 1990 in England, Carl can look back on a colourful motan journey across four different countries.

After starting as a young salesperson, Carl Litherland took the bold step of moving to Germany in 1998. There, he changed from Sales to being responsible for world-wide Group Marketing 2002. Two detours, to the USA in 2007 and Switzerland in 2008, made it possible for Carl work at further motan and colortronic locations. There, with much commitment, he positioned motan-colortronic as a modern and leading supplier of periphery units and systems.

After returning to Germany in 2010, global marketing was further developed and expanded under his leadership. Carl Litherland is well known for being an excellent salesperson and for his humour. A milestone of his career was the product line disc-tec, which he launched 2002-2006.

mo explains: " Injection molding produces sprues that can immediately be turned into regrind and reused. This makes sense because it saves money and protects the environment. If the initial material needs to be dried it can save even more money as regrind does not usually need to be dried if it is being reused immediately.
