Hands-On Extrusion Training at JKU Linz
The training program included an introduction to JKU, the Institute of Polymer Processing and Digital Transformation, as well as insights into the long-standing collaboration between JKU and the motan group. The training focused on the fundamentals of extrusion, providing participants with valuable knowledge about extrusion line design, key process components, various materials, and end products. In addition, applications in pipe, profile, and cable extrusion were covered in depth through practical examples and success stories.
A particular highlight was the live demonstration and hands-on experience at the JKU film extrusion line, where theoretical concepts were directly linked to real-world applications. The program was complemented by a visit to the LIT Factory (Linz Institute of Technology). As a connected teaching, learning, and research factory for Smart Polymer Processing and Digitalization, the LIT Factory offers an impressive environment for innovation and collaboration. We are proud to support this unique learning facility through the provision of various motan equipment and technologies.
The training provided participants with an excellent opportunity to expand their technical expertise, gain valuable insights for customer projects, and strengthen the exchange with the experts at JKU.
