The goal of the project is to optimally connect the injection moulding machines to the material supply. Via an OPC-UA interface, data such as status and alarms of the ancillary equipment will be made centrally available. This will not only enable a better overview of the entire process and quicker reaction time, but will also improve standard processes and Nissei Plastic can offer significant added value to their customers.
 

In February at motan-colortronic in Isny, the parameters for the networking of the injection moulding machines with the material supply were determined and successfully tested. Isamu Komamura, General Manager Engineering of Nissei Plastic Industrial Co. Ltd. was also present and was so impressed with the test runs that motan-colortronic and its partners have received the exhibition commission for 2018.
