NPE2024 – The Plastics Show
From May 6 to 10, the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, was the venue for NPE 2024, setting a new record this year with 1,024,462 square meters of exhibition space. This trade fair showcases innovative and future-oriented idea solutions and is further a good opportunity to establish and maintain partnerships. On tours through the exhibition halls or through captivating presentations by expert keynote speakers, visitors were able to gain an exciting insight into the current and future topics of the industry. This year, more than 50,000 visitors were in attendance, of whom 30% were under the age of 40, making it one of the youngest visitor numbers in the history of the trade fair. This indicates an enthusiasm for innovation, sustainability and the future prospects of the plastics industry.
The motan group was also represented with its own stand and very satisfied with how the trade fair went. We showcased a wide range of solutions on site, including the new sCOMPACT dryer series and the new sDRYBIN A. The new GRAVICOLOR 110 batch dosing and mixing unit and the FDA-compliant GRAVICOLOR 110 med, which was specially developed for the medical and pharmaceutical industries, were also presented there for the first time. Other focal points from our side were permanent central vacuum systems and the simple system-wide integration and automation of control systems.
