motan-colortronic India have moved their new larger production and sales building in the east Indian city of Chennai. With the new building, the production area has tripled. In addition to injection moulding, solutions can now be found for new segments such as extrusion and compounding.
There was a two day celebration for the grand opening. On February 8th, Sandra Füllsack, Managing Director of motan holding gmbh welcomed the employees to the new plant and lighted together with Padmanabhan Srikanth, Managing director of motan-colortronic India the traditional opening ceremony lamp. The next day, February 9th, the official opening ceremony for the customers took place, which was also attended by Karin Stoll, the Consul General for the Federal Republic of Germany in Chennai and T. With the move to the new building, motan is reacting to the growing market in India and the increased demands of the customers. The significantly larger production and storage site not only provides better delivery times, but also spare parts supply. Now there is enough space to store the individual high-quality parts. The customers can thus look forward to quicker delivery and shorter downtimes, and there will be no compromise on quality.
