A Matter of Honor - Samia Rink works at motan operations gmbh for a good cause

A small contribution with a big effect

In the nationwide action week “Mitmachen Ehrensache”, from 05.12. – 09.12.2022 young people could work for one day at employers and donate the earned money for a good cause.

One of these young people was Samia. The twelve-year-old normally attends the eighth grade at Eglofs Community School. On December 8, 2022, however, she did not go to school but to motan operations gmbh in Isny.

Here she was able to actively support her motan colleagues in the logistics department. Especially shortly before the Christmas break, they were very happy about a helping hand.

For every hour worked, 5€ were earned, which Samira donated for a good cause. In total, 40€ were collected for a charitable organization.

We find the action “Mitmachen Ehrensache” very praiseworthy and are happy that we could support Samia in the implementation of this action.

A small contribution with a big effect! Thank you Samia for your support!

“We are pleased to be able to give young people an insight into our company through the “Mitmachen Ehrensache” campaign. We are particularly pleased that donations are also collected for a good cause as a result.” Rene Kieninger, Head of HR

mo explains: " Injection molding produces sprues that can immediately be turned into regrind and reused. This makes sense because it saves money and protects the environment. If the initial material needs to be dried it can save even more money as regrind does not usually need to be dried if it is being reused immediately.
